So we've got almost all of our equipment rounded up; the only things that I'd love to get my hands on are an Ovilus, and a Frank's box. Those would make our kit complete! (Well, thermal imaging cameras aside... *cough* *cough*) .
We've opted to go for getting an infrared TF security dome camera instead of going for the more expensive Vivitar converted IR or full spectrum cameras, because not only will it be easier to use, better quality, and costed less than a third the price (of the over-inflated converted cams), it works better too. Match it up with some IR lighting and temperature gauges and we're all set! (We also have 2 styles of EMF reader so that we can not only check for whether or not we have a reading, but we can also take note of a change in reading, if/when we do get something). Now we just need to take on some more locations, and get some more investigations under our belt. We did recently go and investigate the Fraser Cemetery in New Westminster, we though we didn't stay too long as it was "after hours" (technically), we did manage to pick up at least 1 outstanding photo, as well as 1 pretty good EVP, which I would consider to be a Class B (borderline Class C, depending on who you talk to). For me, it was an easy listen, and I caught it first hear-through. It shocked me to hear, but when I showed some of my family, they heard it, but couldn't tell me what they heard. For me it was too clear. Ah well, time to see what else is out there!

So the website for PPI is just about up and running! We have yet to get out on some real cases and get some hard investigations under our belts, but we're eager, willing, and ready!
We're currently waiting on some supplies and equipment to arrive in the mail, and once they do, we're all set, completely, to get into professional (well, as close to professional as you can get) investigations! We're not exactly looking for fame, but apparently its tough-going starting up a new investigation group and get your name out there. Though I'm sure we'll be able to sooner or later, so we can really start picking up cases. But, hey, everybody starts small! (Maybe soon we can afford to buy our own domain name! Now that'd be something else!) |
